En teoría la
expresión PEOPLE ARE ("la gente es") es muy
fácil.
Sin embargo son
muchos los estudiantes de inglés con un nivel intermedio
o incluso alguno de ellos con nivel avanzado, que
cometen el error de decir PEOPLE IS.
Estos errores son
fáciles de entender porque en español "la gente" es
singular y por eso lleva el verbo en tercera persona del
singular ("la gente es"), pero este tipo de errores se
consideran graves para un estudiante avanzado.
