This is Mary and Peter and if you look closely, that's me: Estos son Mary y Peter y si te fijas bien, ése soy yo.

1ª Parte:

This is Mary and Peter: Estos son Mary y Peter

Mientras que en español se dice (por ejemplo al mirar una foto): Estos son Mary y Peter

En Inglés se utiliza el singular: This is Mary and Peter

Ejemplos del programa:

This is my boss and his wife.

This is my brother and my sister

This is my neighbor and his wife

This is David and Richard

2ª Parte:

To look closely = Fijarse bien

This is my boss and his wife and if you look closely, you can see the snow: Estos son mi jefe y su mujer y si te fijas bien puedes ver la nieve.

Ejemplos del programa:

This is the mayor and his wife and if you look closely you can see their cat.

If you look closely you can see my dog

3ª Parte:

That's me = Ese soy yo

Mientras que en español se dice (por ejemplo al mirar una foto): Ese soy yo

En Inglés se dice: That's me (y nunca that's I)

Ejemplos del programa:

This is my brother and my sister and if you look closely that's me.

This is the mayor and his wife and if you look closely that's me.

PALABRA DEL DÍA:

MAYOR = ALCALDE
